The Hayes family and their new Palfinger

HUGE HUGE HUGE thank you to the Hayes family for the purchase of their new Palfinger crane. Honestly as a family company we are so proud to see builds finished to the highest of standards leaving us on a regular basis, but the thought and effort gone into this build is truly amazing.

Palfinger PK135.002 TEC 7 reaching out 27M with no flyjib and lifting 2700kg is special to see. Fitted to a R660 8x2 Scania with the finishing touches done by Stephan at MMB engineering in Allenwood.

The crane features HPSC Ballast detection which means it is always calculating any weight that you have on your trailer to give you performance that is unrivalled. Especially impressive when lifting over the front of the truck.

Palfinger factory front jack legs. Only weighing in at 197kg deadweight and giving you up to 85% performance over the front. It is by far the lightest way to maximise the performance over the front compared to other systems. Deadweight on any truck now is vital when it comes to individual axle weights, MPG, tyre wear, fifth wheel pin load, etc. This truck is weighing in at just over 27 tonnes is super impressive especially with the infamous V8 in the front.

Weighing system integrated into the crane. You can now use your Palfinger crane as a weighing scales... Weigh your load and plan your lifts better.

P profile extensions. The tear drop shape is especially rigid and simultaneously lightweight using the highest quality of steel. It's self greasing meaning no maintainance is needed in between services appointments. The extension profile also allows for faster operating cycles so you can get on and off site in the least amount of time possible saving you huge amounts of money and time over the life cycle of the truck.

Once again thank you to the Hayes and we can't wait to see her lift the first cabin
