Crane Testing
The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations, 2007, stipulate that Lifting Equipment must be thoroughly tested, in general, once every twelve months or after substantial alteration or repair. Subsequent to this, a Report of Thorough Examination, is issued. Operators have a legal obligation to produce this document when requested.
This crane test, thorough examination and issue of certificate can be carried out by Palfinger Ireland. We will carry out a crane inspection and give you a report on the condition of your lifting equipment. For peace of mind regarding employee safety and legal protection in the event of an accident, it is essential to have this certificate.
This crane inspection has the added bonus of early detection of small defects which, undetected, may progress into major problems in the future. If any crane defects are found we give you an immediate quotation for crane repairs needed and you have the option of having the crane repair carried out immediately or booking in later to have the job done.
